2009/2010 Levy Consultation

This consultation paper:
- reviews last year’s levy development process;
- explains the development of the FY2010 levy, including work done on updating the framework for levy setting, and the review of the levy structure;
- describes the work that Gas Industry Co will undertake in FY2010 and the associated estimated costs;
- outlines the calculation of the levy funding requirement for FY2010;
- and proposes the levy for FY2010.
Gas Industry Co invites submissions on the proposed annual levy for FY2010 and the associated issues set out in this paper. (Submissions close on 5 February 2009.)
Specific matters on which submissions are sought are set out in each section of the paper, and a suggested format for submissions is set out in the template in Appendix A.
Workshops were held on Wednesday, 21 January 2009 and Wednesday, 28 January 2009.
